Cure to Cancer with Vitamin C

Cure to Cancer with Vitamin C

When i came across this video to learn the impact of the vitamin C on our bodies, it was an eye opener and I started to wonder, how come this stuff is not more common taught to people ? Well i thought it was only right to share the info that can help people appreciate the value of this amazing vitamin.

Watch this video first

Vitamin C is commonly understood to be an antioxidant. The National Institutes of Health has replicated research done at The Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning which shows that very high blood levels of vitamin C can act as a pro-drug that forms hydrogen peroxide at doses lethal to cancer cells. This pro-oxidant effect is best achieved by intravenous administration of vitamin C. New findings suggest that high oral doses of vitamin C used in conjunction with "redox cyclers" may support and enhance the effect of IVC against cancer.

Here is some more info about this amazing vitamin that does great good to our bodies and how it's verified by numerous studies and sciences.

According to the government site the vitamin C is known to be a helper in the fight against cancer. here is a part of their findings.
High-Dose Vitamin C (PDQ®)

Overview

• Vitamin C is a nutrient found in food and dietary supplements. It is an antioxidant and also plays a key role in making collagen (see Question 1).
•High-dose vitamin C may be given by intravenous (IV) infusion (through a vein into the bloodstream) or orally (taken by mouth). When taken by intravenous infusion, vitamin C can reach much higher levels in the blood than when the same amount is taken by mouth (see Question 1).
•High-dose vitamin C has been studied as a treatment for patients with cancer since the 1970s (see Question 2).
• Laboratory studies have shown that high doses of vitamin C may slow the growth and spread of prostate, pancreatic, liver, colon, and other types of cancer cells (see Question 5).
•Some laboratory and animal studies have shown that combining vitamin C with anticancer therapies may be helpful, while other studies have shown that certain forms of vitamin C may make chemotherapy less effective (see Question 5).
• Animal studies have shown that high-dose vitamin C treatment blocks tumor growth in certain models of pancreatic, liver, prostate, and ovarian cancers, sarcoma, and malignant mesothelioma (see Question 5).
•Some human studies of high-dose IV vitamin C in patients with cancer have shown improved quality of life, as well as improvements in physical, mental, and emotional functions, symptoms of fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, and appetite loss (see Question 6).
• Intravenous high-dose ascorbic acid has caused very few side effects in clinical trials (see Question 7).
•While generally approved as a dietary supplement, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved the use of IV high-dose vitamin C as a treatment for cancer or any other medical condition (see Question 9).

Eating Healthy is Very Important for Healthy Body - Greens

Salads are not given the proper credit it's due. Green vegetables are so great for our bodies most people don't value what they have in their local super market or even better, FARMacy :).

Historically it's proven again and again that many generations before us, were indeed very savvy of natural methods to heal the body, but it came down to what you put in your body to begin with. Eating right can greatly benefit your body as well heal it from damages done from past none healthy eating.

My diet consists of at least 50% greens, i try to steam it, eat it naturally ( after good wash). lettuces, Spinach, are two of my favorite snacks.

What are the benefits of greens ? well here check out this great info on it

Adding green leafy vegetables to your breakfast, lunch or dinner can help improve your diet and offer a great way to alkalize and balance most meals. Plus, their high fiber content sweeps out the entire digestive tract as they move through the stomach and colon.

This helps to provide regular bowel movements, moving undigested wastes and toxins out of the body. Most greens are cooling to the system, sooth inflammation and assist in the detoxification of heavy metals, plastics and chemicals present in the body and bloodstream.

Greens, like kale, collard, cilantro and spinach, are essentially balancing foods, helping to achieve healthier pH levels that guard against candida or parasites that thrive in acidic environments.

Dark leafy greens help to counteract the negative effects of heavier foods, acidic foods and sweet foods. They combined well with nuts and seeds, which tend to be more acidic.

Top Leafy Greens List
Arugula
leafy-greens-list-arugula

Arugula, which is also known as "rocket lettuce", has a spicy nut-like flavor that is truly unique among the variety of leafy greens. It is a calciferous green (high in calcium) known for it's anti-cancer compounds.

It is also a great source of folic acid, Vit A, C, magnesium, manganese, potassium, riboflavin, copper, iron and zinc. Arugula is a tasty addition to a salad for extra special spiciness.
Collard Greens
leafy-greens-list-collard-greens

Collard greens are an amazing source of vitamins like: B6, C (one cup provides 70% RDA), carotenes, manganese, Vit. B1, B2 and E. Collard includes minerals like: copper, calcium and copper.

Collard leaves are great for rolling raw burritos and their flavor is nicely balanced with savory foods like seed cheese or nut pates, for those adhering to a raw vegan diet.
Kale
green-leafy-vegetables-2

Kale is considered the "queen of greens." There are many varieties of kale availabe. Our favorite, by far, is "dino kale" for it's super dark green color and softer texture. One way to eat kale "raw" is marinated in a raw kale salad for a delicious nutritious meal.

Some people can be sensitive to eating it uncooked, but usually marinating or blending helps to break it down and makes it easier to digest. The other option is to lightly steam it (just enough that it still retains a bright green color).

Kale is an especially beneficial source of vitamin A, vitamin C and calcium. It is also a rich source of the antioxidant vitamin K.

10 very common Plants that are poisonous

Even though this blog is about therapy specifically herbal natural medicine, I came across this video and wanted to share with all my subscribers and visitors.

The wild life can be indeed very wild and what can look very edible, indeed can be very poisonous to us but not to other life forms, which is another amazing thing in itself.

You see there are poisonous plants out there as well as medicinal so this video covers 10 of the most poisonous plants around

10.Jimson Weed Datura stramonium, known by the common names Jimson weed, Devil's snare or datura, is a plant in the Solanaceae family. It is believed to have originated in the Americas, but is now found around the world

9.Rhododendron Some species of rhododendron are poisonous to grazing animals because of a toxin called grayanotoxin in their pollen and nectar. People have been known to become ill from eating honey made by bees feeding on rhododendron and azalea flowers.

8.Ageratina altissima Ageratina altissima, also known as white snakeroot is a poisonous perennial herb in the family Asteraceae, native to eastern North America. White Snakeroot contains the toxin tremetol; when the plants are consumed by cattle, the meat and milk become contaminated with the toxin. When milk or meat containing the toxin is consumed, the poison is passed on to humans. If consumed in large enough quantities, it can cause tremetol poisoning in humans. The poisoning is also called milk sickness, as humans often ingested the toxin by drinking the milk of cows that had eaten snakeroot.

7.Hydrangea Hydrangeas are moderately toxic if eaten, with all parts of the plant containing cyanogenic glycosides. Hydrangea paniculata is reportedly sometimes smoked as an intoxicant, despite the danger of illness and/or death due to the cyanide.

6.Taxus baccata Most parts of the tree are toxic, except the bright red aril surrounding the seed. The foliage remains toxic even when wilted, and toxicity increases in potency when dried. Ingestion and subsequent excretion by birds whose beaks and digestive systems do not break down the seed's coating are the primary means of yew dispersal.

5.Water hemlock Cicuta, commonly known as water hemlock, is a small genus of four species of highly poisonous plants in the family Apiaceae.Water hemlock is considered one of North America's most toxic plants, being highly poisonous to humans. Three members of the genus contain a toxin named cicutoxin which causes central nervous system stimulatory effects including seizures following ingestion.

4.Castor oil plant The castor oil plant (Ricinus communis) is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. It belongs to a monotypic genus, Ricinus, and subtribe, Ricininae. The evolution of castor and its relation to other species are currently being studied using modern genetic tools An alcoholic extract of the leaf was shown, in lab rats, to protect the liver from damage from certain poisons

3.Rosary Pea Abrus precatorius, known commonly as jequirity, Crab's eye, rosary pea, precatory pea or bean,The toxin abrin is a dimer consisting of two protein subunits, termed A and B. The B chain facilitates abrin's entry into a cell by bonding to certain transport proteins on cell membranes, which then transport the toxin into the cell. Once inside the cell, the A chain prevents protein synthesis by inactivating the 26S subunit of the ribosome. One molecule of abrin will inactivate up to 1,500 ribosomes per second.

2.Atropa belladonna Atropa bella-donna, commonly known as Belladonna or Deadly Nightshade, Belladonna is one of the most toxic plants found in the Eastern Hemisphere. All parts of the plant contain tropane alkaloids. The berries pose the greatest danger to children because they look attractive and have a somewhat sweet taste. The consumption of two to five berries by a human adult is probably lethal. The root of the plant is generally the most toxic part, though this can vary from one specimen to another. Ingestion of a single leaf of the plant can be fatal to an adult

1.Nerium Oleander Nerium oleander is an evergreen shrub or small tree in the dogbane family Apocynaceae, toxic in all its parts. Oleander poisoning occurs when someone sucks nectar from the flowers or chews leaves from the oleander or yellow oleander plant. Poisoning can also happen if you eat honey made by bees that used the oleander plant for nectar.
Important to be very careful when you are checking new plants, flowers, fruits that are not common. It's important to stay informed as much as you can about what can be delicious, and what will harm you.  This is why I wanted to share this info with our subscribers.
